San Francisco Giatns infielder Austin Slater is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Slater is being replaced at designated hitter by Joc Pederson versus Dodgers starter Bobby Miller.
In 207 plate appearances this season, Slater has a .270 batting average with a .748 OPS, 5 home runs, 24 runs, 20 RBI and 2 stolen bases.
