Yunel Escobar (knee) remains out of Angels lineup Monday
Los Angeles Angels Yunel Escobar (knee) remained out of the lineup Monday against the Houston Astros.
What It Means:
Escobar has missed four games in a row at this point. He was diagnosed with a bone bruise following an MRI, but it remains unclear when he'll be ready to return to the lineup. Jefry Marte is filling in at third base again Monday.
Escobar is slashing a solid .310/.359/.409 with three home runs and a .337 wOBA in 297 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .288/.348/.382 with two home runs and a .321 wOBA over a remaining 188 plate appearances in the 2016 season.
