The Pittsburgh Pirates will move Henry Davis to the bench for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Davis will catch a breather Thursday while the Pirates have Josh Palacios join the lineup in left field and bat sixth.
Davis has made 242 plate appearances so far as a rookie, batting .220 with 7 homers, 27 runs, 24 RBI, and 3 stolen bases along the way.
