San Francisco Giants infielder J.D. Davis (shoulder) is not starting in Wednesday's contest versus the San Diego Padres.
Davis will be held out at home after he suffered a shoulder injury and Wilmer Flores was picked as Wednesday's third baseman.
According to Baseball Savant on 334 batted balls this season, Davis has recorded a 9.6% barrel rate and a .241 expected average.
