Detroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo is starting Saturday in the team's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Baddoo is getting the nod in left field, batting ninth in the order versus Athletics starter Joe Boyle.
In 341 plate appearances this season, Baddoo has a .216 batting average with a .656 OPS, 10 home runs, 37 runs, 31 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
