Polanco is being replaced at designated hitter by Michael A. Taylor versus Angels starter Kenny Rosenberg.
In 327 plate appearances this season, Polanco has a .261 batting average with an .802 OPS, 13 home runs, 36 runs, 47 RBI and 4 stolen bases.
