Tyler Fitzgerald making MLB debut with Giants Thursday
The San Francisco Giants will have Tyler Fitzgerald start in centerfield for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Fitzgerald will make the first MLB start of his career tonight against the Dodgers, batting ninth as the Giants' centerfielder. He'll replace Luis Matos in the outfield.
The rookie has had a strong season at Triple-A, putting up 20 home runs with 72 runs, 69 RBI, and 29 stolen bases while batting .287 across 466 plate appearances.
