The San Francisco Giants did not list J.D. Davis as a starter for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Davis will take the night off while Wilmer Flores returns to the lineup at third base and bats second.
Davis has turned his 529 plate appearances with the Giants this year into 18 home runs, 61 runs, 69 RBI and a .249 batting average with a .744 OPS.
