Astros' Jose Altuve records four hits on Saturday
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve had four hits, including a home run and two doubles, in Saturday's 13-5 beat down of the Kansas City Royals.
Altuve is having a fantastic season. He already is just two home runs shy of his season total for 2015, and if he continues like this throughout the rest of the year, he has to warrant some most valuable player votes.
Altuve has a .429 wOBA with a .348/.427/.567 slash line over a league-leading 339 plate appearances. He has 13 home runs, 54 runs scored, 44 RBI's and 18 stolen bases on the year. Our models project some cooling in the second half though, with a .364 wOBA, nine homers, 39 RBI's, 50 runs scored and 17 swipes remaining this season.
