Houston Astros outfielder Jake Meyers is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander John Means and the Baltimore Orioles.
Meyers made a rare start and went 2-for-4 with a triple, a solo home run, and an additional run scored in Sunday's series finale against the Kansas City Royals. Mauricio Dubon will replace Meyers in center field Monday and hit eighth.
Means made his season debut last week and allowed 2 home runs, a 66.7% fly-ball rate versus righties, and a 10.5% barrel rate. numberFire’s models project Dubon ($2,500) for 8.5 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros' implied total is 4.80 and the game total is 8.5.
