Baltimore Orioles first baseman Ryan Mountcastle (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Aaron Civale and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Mountcastle remains out after he exited Wednesday's series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals early with a shoulder issue. He's undergoing testing Thursday and could require a trip to the injured list. Ryan O'Hearn will start on first base and bat cleanup against Civale while Gunnar Henderson moves up to hit second.
