Detroit Tigers infielder Andy Ibanez is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds.
Ibanez went 4-for-8 with a homer, a double, 2 RBI, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored in the first two games of the series. Zach McKinstry will shift to second base and bat second while Javier Baez starts at shortstop and hits eighth. Matt Vierling will swap with McKinstry and bat leadoff for Detroit.
