Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez went 4-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored versus the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.
Hernandez's on base percentage was down to .293 entering Thursday's contest, but he bumped it up to .308 after this performance. What's more disappointing about Hernandez's season, fantasy-wise, is that he's only 3-for-8 stealing bases. He wasn't expected to produce much in the other categories, but heading into the season, 20 steals seemed like a good bet.
Hernandez is now slashing .261/.308/.357 with two home runs and a poor .289 wOBA in 250 plate appearances this season. We project things to get worse over the remaining course of the season, forecasting him to hit .244/.295/.319 with two home runs, nine steals, and a .272 wOBA.
