Phillies' Tommy Joseph scratched Thursday with cold
Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Tommy Joseph was scratched from the starting lineup Thursday due to an illness.
Several players in the majors have been going through illness, and it looks as if Joseph has caught the bug going around. Andres Blanco is starting at first base and batting second against Ricky Nolasco and the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon.
Joseph owns a .307 wOBA with eight homers and 14 RBI's over 114 plate appearances this year. Our models project him to post a .281 wOBA with five homers and 17 RBI's remaining this season.
