Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen is sitting Friday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
McCutchen is being replaced at designated hitter by Endy Rodriguez versus Cardinals starter Dakota Hudson.
In 460 plate appearances this season, McCutchen has a .247 batting average with a .753 OPS, 12 home runs, 51 runs, 40 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
