Mets giving Travis d'Arnaud day off versus Kansas City
New York Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud is sitting out Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals.
Rene Rivera will be playing catcher for the Mets and batting eighth with Royals' left-hander Danny Duffy on the mound. d'Arnaud went 0-for-3 with a whiff on Tuesday, his first outing since April.
Our models currently project d'Arnaud to slash .238/.320/.400 in 147 appearances at the plate over the remainder of the season, expecting him to log four home runs and 17 more RBI's.
