Jorge Soler (hip) sidelined Wednesday for Marlins

Miami Marlins designated hitter Jorge Soler (hip) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against right-hander Zach Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays.

What It Means:

Soler left Tuesday's game early with a tight hip and is considered day-to-day. Josh Bell is starting at designated hitter and batting second while Yuli Gurriel takes care of things on first base. Jesus Sanchez is starting in right field and hitting sixth.

numberFire’s models project Bell ($2,900) for 7.3 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Marlins' implied total is 3.64 and the game total is 7.5. Eflin has a 3.55 ERA and elite 2.93 xERA this season, with a 35.1% hard-hit rate, 25.7% strikeout rate, and 3.5% walk rate.
