Gregorio Petit launches a grand slam for Angels
Los Angeles Angels infielder Gregorio Petit hit his first career grand slam Monday off Houston Astros' reliever Tony Sipp.
Since his MLB debut in 2008, Petit has logged just 314 plate appearances, and this was his fourth long ball. With Andrelton Simmons back, Petit will likely struggled to find regular playing time.
With that said, Petit owns a solid .333 wOBA through 111 plate appearances this season. The offensively-challenged Angels may look for ways to keep him in the lineup.
