Ben Revere

Ben Revere riding pine for Nationals again

Washington Nationals outfielder Ben Revere is out of the lineup Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

What It Means:

It looks like we have a platoon on our hands. Michael Taylor gets his second straight start in center field with ace southpaw Clayton Kershaw on the mound as Revere spends another day on the bench. With two more left-handers (Scott Kazmir and Julio Urias) on the docket for Tuesday and Wednesday, Revere may want to get comfortable.

Revere owns a wOBA of .246 through 163 plate appearances this season. He has one homer, 12 RBI's and seven steals on the year. Our models currently project him to have a .285 wOBA with one long ball, 17 RBI's and 13 steals in 267 appearances at the plate over the remainder of the year.
