Sam Dyson earns another save as Rangers sweep Cardinals
Texas Rangers closer Sam Dyson earned his 13th save of the season on Sunday in Texas' 5-4 defeat of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dyson was a little shaky to start, giving up a leadoff single and a walk. However, he finished off the frame to get the win for Texas. He has not blown a save since taking over as the Rangers' permanent closer.
Dyson owns a 2.04 ERA with 13 saves and a 0.93 WHIP over 35 1/3 innings this season. Our models project him to post a 2.51 ERA with another 17 saves on the year.
