Former San Diego Padres pitcher Ryan Weathers has been traded to the Miami Marlins.
Weathers will head to Miami as part of a deadline-day deal with the Marlins. Miami is sending infielder Garrett Cooper and pitcher Sean Reynolds to San Diego.
In 44.7 innings pitched this season, Weathers has recorded a 6.25 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, 29 strikeouts, and 17 walks.
