Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce is getting the day off Thursday against the Atlanta Braves.

Bruce is having a stellar season, but he will get a day of rest on Thursday as the Reds' battle Matt Wisler and the Braves. Kyle Waldrop is starting in right field and batting fifth on Thursday.
