Boston Red Sox outfielder Chris Young was replaced in the field due to quad tightness in Wednesday's win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Prior to departing, Young went 1-for-4. Rusney Castillo came on in the ninth inning and manned left field.
Young has been outstanding this season, posting a .388 wOBA with a .276 ISO in a part-time role (116 plate appearances). He's been especially cruel to southpaws, putting up an insane .512 wOBA against left-handed pitching.
