Pirates' Chris Stewart passes concussion tests Wednesday
Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Chris Stewart passed three concussion tests after being hit in the head with a bat on Tuesday.
Erik Kratz will start in his place as Stewart remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. In addition to his head injury, he has also been fighting through an ankle ailment of late. Regular starter Francisco Cervelli is on the mend from a hand injury, too.
Stewart ranks 279th with a -0.66 nERD, and we project him to hit .248/.309/.335 with a .275 wOBA over the remainder of the season.
