Yovani Gallardo (shoulder) to return to Orioles on Saturday
Baltimore Orioles pitcher Yovani Gallardo (shoulder) will be activated from the disabled list Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
What It Means:
In his last rehab outing on Monday, Gallardo allowed one run over five frames. His return to the rotation will bump Ubaldo Jimenez to the bullpen.
Gallardo has pitched 18 innings this season, posting ugly numbers. He is sporting a 5.62 SIERA, 10.8 percent strikeout rate and 8.4 percent walk rate. He will not be a wise play against the high-octane Jays' lineup.
