Rangers prospect Lewis Brinson (shoulder) to miss a few weeks
Texas Rangers prospect outfielder Lewis Brinson will miss several weeks with a left shoulder strain.
The Rangers believe he should be able to rest and rehab the shoulder and will not require surgery. Brinson was widely regarded as one of the top position prospects in the game coming into the year.
The 22-year-old Brinson was batting .219/.273/.417 with seven homers, 30 RBI's and eight steals over his first 52 games with Double-A Frisco this season.
