Santiago Casilla picks up 13th save as Giants top Dodgers
San Francisco Giants closer Santiago Casilla protected the Giants' one-run lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, as he picked up his 13th save of the season.
Casilla entered the game in the ninth inning, and as he has done so often this season, closed things out nicely, not giving up a hit or a walk.
His 2.56 SIERA and 30.5 percent strikeout rate on the year are the best of his career, and we project him for a 2.67 ERA and 25.9 percent strikeout rate over the remainder of the season.
