Brewers' Jonathan Lucroy is resting on Saturday
Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy is getting a rest day on Saturday as the Brewers play the New York Mets.
It was a planned day of rest for Lucroy, who has started in 12 of the Brewers last 14 games. Martin Maldonado will start in his place and bat eighth on Saturday.
Lucroy is once again having a fantastic season, slashing .304/.364/.512 in 231 plate appearances. He has a wOBA of .373, and our models project him to post a wOBA of .329 with nine homers and 44 more RBIs' remaining this season.
