Jace Peterson (rest) out of lineup Friday
Jace Peterson is out of the Braves lineup Friday, as they are facing left-hander Tim Cooney. Pedro Ciriaco is batting second and playing second base in his spot.
Peterson is hitting just .212/.268/.258 against southpaws this season, so it makes sense to keep him out of the lineup. Ciriaco is actually hitting just .192 against lefties himself, so use him with caution tonight, although his cheap price and high spot in the order are a bit appealing. There are 15 games tonight so you can do better than him.
