Chicago Cubs catcher Miguel Amaya is not starting in Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Amaya will take a break in San Francisco after Ian Happ was picked as Friday's designated hitter and Christopher Morel was aligned in left field.
Per Baseball Savant on 24 batted balls this season, Amaya has accounted for a 12.5% barrel rate and a .362 expected average.
