Oakland Athletics outfielder Brent Rooker is not starting in Friday's lineup versus the Milwaukee Brewers.
Rooker will sit on the bench after Seth Brown was picked as Oakland'e designated hitter, JJ Bleday was shifted to left field, and Esteury Ruiz was aligned in center.
Per Baseball Savant on 132 batted balls this season, Rooker has recorded a 15.2% barrel rate and a .265 expected average.
