Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Polanco is day-to-day after injuring his hamstring on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Kyle Farmer will start on second base and bat fifth on Friday while Donovan Solano will cover leadoff duty. Ryan Jeffers will be the designated hitter and bat sixth.
numberFire’s models project Farmer ($2,800) for 9.2 FanDuel points on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.11 and the game total is 8.5. Kikuchi has a 4.40 ERA and 5.40 xERA this season, with a 22.9% strikeout rate and 7.6% walk rate. His 48.1% hard-hit rate ranks in the bottom 10th percentile of the majors.
