Jorge Polanco (hamstring) sidelined Friday for Twins
Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Polanco is day-to-day after injuring his hamstring on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Kyle Farmer will start on second base and bat fifth on Friday while Donovan Solano will cover leadoff duty. Ryan Jeffers will be the designated hitter and bat sixth.
