Astros' Yordan Alvarez (oblique) exits Thursday night contest
Houston Astros outfielder Yordan Alvarez exited Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays due to oblique soreness.
Alvarez exited the game after an awkward swing left him limping, and is reportedly dealing with oblique soreness. We'll learn more about the severity of the injury after the team is able to perform a closer examination of the injury.
Alvarez has been having another elite season in Houston so far, batting .274 with 17 home runs, 41 runs, and 55 RBI through 241 plate appearances.
