Zack Short on keystone Tuesday for Detroit
Detroit Tigers infielder Zack Short is in the lineup on Tuesday versus right-hander Taijuan Walker and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Short will replace Andy Ibanez on second base and bat sixth after being held out of the previous two lineups.
Short is numberFire’s No. 1 point-per-dollar value among projected batters on Monday. He has a $2,100 salary and we have him pegged for 10.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers' implied total is 3.92 and the game total is 9.0. Walker has a 4.76 xERA behind a 5.65 ERA, but his 18.3% strikeout rate and 10.6% walk rate aren't threatening.
