Cavan Biggio in right field for Blue Jays Monday
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio will start in right field and hit eighth versus right-hander Brandon Bielak and the Houston Astros in Monday's series opener.
Biggio will shift to right field while George Springer serves as the designated hitter. Kevin Kiermaier will be in the middle of the outfield and Daulton Varsho will take care of the other corner. Whit Merrifield will start on the keystone for Toronto.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Blue Jays' implied total is one of the best on the board at 5.04 and the game total is the highest of the day at 10.0. Bielak has a 4.43 SIERA and 21.2% strikeout rate this season, but he's giving up 1.74 homers per nine innings and carrying a 9.1% walk rate.
