Chicago Cubs infielder Christopher Morel is not in the lineup Saturday in the team's game against the San Diego Padres.
Morel is being replaced at desiganted hitter by Edwin Rios versus Padres starter Yu Darvish.
In 79 plate appearances this season, Morel has a .270 batting average with a .992 OPS, 9 home runs, 17 runs, 15 RBI and 1 stolen base.
