Miami Marlins catcher Nick Fortes is not starting in Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Fortes will rest on Friday evening after Jacob Stallings was picked as Miami's starting catcher.
Per Baseball Savant on 89 batted balls this season, Fortes has produced a 3.4% barrel rate and a .227 expected average.
