Byron Buxton sent to Minnesota's bench on Wednesday
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton is not starting in Wednesday's lineup against the Houston Astros.
Buxton will sit in Houston after Joey Gallo was picked as Minnesota's designated hitter, Alex Kirilloff was moved to left field, and Donovan Solano was aligned at first base.
Per Baseball Savant on 121 batted balls this season, Buxton has produced a 11.6% barrel rate and a .214 expected average.
