Michael Conforto (heel) sidelined Wednesday for Giants
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (heel) is not in the lineup versus right-hander MItch Keller and the Pittsburgh Pirates in Wednesday afternoon's series finale.
Conforto is day-to-day with a heel bruise after exiting Tuesday's game early. Mitch Haniger will move to right field and hit sixth while Blake Sabol shifts to the other outfield corner and bats fifth. Wilmer Flores will enter the lineup to be the designated hitter and bat cleanup.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Giants' implied total is 4.06 and the game total is 8.0. Among Wednesday's listed starters, Keller has the second-best strikeout rate this season at 30.5%. He also has a 28.7% hard-hit rate that ranks in the top 7% of the league.
