Jake Burger on White Sox bench Wednesday
Chicago White Sox infielder/designated hitter Jake Burger is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jaime Barria and the Los Angeles Angels.
Burger went 3-for-4 and scored a run on Tuesday, but he is out of the lineup for the second time in three games. Eloy Jimenez will shift to designated hitter in place of Burger and Andrew Benintendi will move up to the two-hole. Gavin Sheets will return to the lineup to play right field and bat eighth.
numberFire’s models project Jimenez ($3,200) for 10.3 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total is 4.75 and the game total is 9.0. Barria has a 1.55 ERA and 2.72 xERA this season, with a 26.0% hard-hit rate, 24.6% strikeout rate, and 7.0% walk rate.
