Chicago White Sox catcher Seby Zavala is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Jaime Barria and the Los Angeles Angels.
Yasmani Grandal will replace Zavala behind the plate and bat seventh. Zavala started the first two games of the series and went 1-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts.
