Robbie Grossman resting Wednesday afternoon for Rangers
Texas Rangers outfielder Robbie Grossman is not in the lineup versus left-hander Joey Wentz and the Detroit Tigers in Wednesday afternoon's series finale.
What It Means:
Grossman will take a breather in the matinee and Corey Seager will shift into the designated hitter role. Josh Smith will enter the lineup to play shortstop and bat eighth. Bubba Thompson and Adolis Garcia will start in the corner outfield spots for the Rangers.
