Mark Canha moving to Mets bench Tuesday
New York Mets outfielder Mark Canha is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Ranger Suarez and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Canha will take a seat while the Mets start Tommy Pham, Brandon Nimmo, and Starling Marte across the outfield on Tuesday.
numberFire’s models project Pham ($2,400) for 7.6 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Nimmo ($3,200) is projected for 9.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total is 4.45 and the game total is 8.5. Suarez has a misleading 9.82 ERA this season, as his 4.68 xERA and 3.87 SIERA are both significantly lower. He also has a solid 27.0% hard-hit rate allowed.
