Anthony Rizzo (neck) not in Yankees' Monday lineup
The New York Yankees did not list Anthony Rizzo (neck) in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Rizzo suffered a neck injury in Sunday's win over the San Diego Padres, and while the injury looked scary on screen, the team reported after the game that Rizzo appears to have avoided anything serious. Oswaldo Cabrera will join the team's lineup at third base and bat ninth Monday while Rizzo gets the night off.
Rizzo is off to a strong start this season, with 11 home runs, 30 runs, 32 RBI, and an impressive .304 batting average in 229 plate appearances.
