Jesse Winker (neck) scratched for Brewers Sunday; Darin Ruf enters
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jesse Winker has been scratched Sunday in the team's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Winker is dealing with neck discomfort. As a result, he has been scratched from Sunday's lineup. Darin Ruf will take over at designated hitter, batting eighth in the order versus Giants starter Alex Cobb.
In 127 plate appearances this season, Winker has a .204 batting average with a .546 OPS, 11 runs and 13 RBI.
