Christian Colon called up by Kansas City
Kansas City Royals infielder Christian Colon has been recalled from Triple-A Omaha.
What It Means:
Colon will give the Royals much-needed infield depth. He batted just .250/.313/.295 in 48 plate appearances earlier this season with Kansas City.
The fourth overall pick in 2010, Colon has put up a .326 wOBA in 72 plate appearances in Triple-A this season. In 119 plate appearances with Kansas City in 2015, Colon posted a .311 wOBA with three steals.
