San Francisco Giants infielder Brandon Crawford is not in the lineup against right-hander Julio Teheran and the Milwaukee Brewers in Thursday's series opener.
What It Means:
Casey Schmitt will take over at shortstop and hit eighth while Crawford sits for the second time this series. J.D. Davis will return to the lineup to play third base and bat cleanup.
