Olivares will hit fifth as the Royals' designated hitter Friday. Vinnie Pasquantino will move to first base, Nick Pratto will play in left field, and Nate Eaton will take a seat.
Olivares has a $2,800 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 10.2 fantasy points against the White Sox.
