San Francisco Giants infielder J.D. Davis is not in the lineup versus right-hander Taijuan Walker and the Philadelphia Phillies in Wednesday afternoon's series finale.
The Giants are giving Davis a day off after nine straight starts. Casey Schmitt will move to third base and bat sixth while Brandon Crawford starts at shortstop and hits eighth. Michael Conforto will move up a spot to bat third.
